OG.com review

OG.com is what Crypto.com built when it decided prediction markets deserved their own app. Announced February 3, 2026 with Crypto.com's chief legal officer as CEO, it runs on Crypto.com Derivatives North America, the CFTC-registered exchange, and leans social: chat rooms, leaderboards, a parlay builder. Fees are quoted at 2¢ per $1 on opening a position. It's excluded in New York and Arizona and sports-restricted in seven more states.

How it's built

Crypto.com acquired a licensed US derivatives exchange in 2022 (today's Crypto.com Derivatives North America) and completed its set of CFTC registrations in September 2025. Prediction contracts first appeared in the main Crypto.com app; OG is the standalone front end launched to give the business its own brand ahead of the Super Bowl. The same exchange lists contracts for Fanatics Markets, which is why the two have similar fee structures.

Markets and features

  • Sports: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MMA, golf; live markets on select sports.
  • Non-sports: finance, politics, culture, entertainment.
  • Parlay builder: up to 8 legs in one position.
  • Social: chat rooms and leaderboards, closer to a betting community than a brokerage.
  • Roadmap: margin/leveraged trading on contracts, pending regulatory certification.

Fees

Reported at 2¢ per $1 of contract on open and 2¢ per contract on early exit, with reviews also calling the structure "variable" by market. As with Crypto.com's own app, part of the cost sits in the spread. Compare a 50¢ contract side by side with Kalshi before trading size.

Questions people ask

Is OG.com the same as Crypto.com's prediction markets?

Same licences, different app. Crypto.com spun OG out as a standalone consumer brand in February 2026 so the prediction business isn't buried in the main crypto app. Contracts run through Crypto.com Derivatives North America, the same exchange that powers Fanatics Markets.

Does OG have parlays?

Yes, a parlay builder that combines contracts into one position with combined odds, up to 8 legs. Reviews from May 2026 claimed it was unique among CFTC platforms; Kalshi and Polymarket have since launched combos too.

Where is OG not available?

New York and Arizona are excluded entirely. In Nevada, Ohio, Michigan, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Illinois only non-sports markets are offered.

Will OG offer margin?

Crypto.com has said leveraged trading on prediction contracts is on the roadmap and would be a first for a federally regulated US market, but it needs regulatory certification and wasn't live as of October 2026.
